Drugs and Alcohol Policy
The Strawberry Bank operates a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol and substance abuse
It is against the law (Licensing Act 2003) for anyone under 18 to consume alcohol on a licensed premises, anyone found purchasing alcohol for a guest under 18 years of age will have the alcohol confiscated from them and will be asked to leave immediately. The incident will be reported to the police and the individuals involved can be fined up to £5,000 each by local authorities. No food or beverages of any kind is permitted to be brought into or consumed within Hotel premises from outside. Only food and beverage purchased directly from the hotel can be consumed on the premises. Anyone found using or under the influence of illegal drugs or substances classified under the Misuse of Drugs Act (1971) will be reported to the police and asked to leave the premises. Any evidence or suspicion of drug use on our premises will also be reported immediately to the police.
Cancellation policy
Accommodation reservations may be cancelled out, financial penatly up to 3pm day prior to the date of your arrival. If you cancel your reservation less than 3pm day prior to the date of arrival, a charge will be made for the cost of the first night. Hotel rooms are available from 15.00pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the hotel manager.
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking at its sole discretion
If the Hotel, in its absolute discretion, considers the Guest’s behaviour to be unreasonable, unacceptable, likely to cause harm to staff, property, other guests of the Hotel, cause noise nuisance or disturbance , the Hotel reserves the right to request the Guest to leave the premises

GROUP BOOKINGS All Group reservations (10 rooming night or more) are subject to a 28 day cancellation policy. Please refer to your contract

Events
Room hire costs for our function rooms vary dependent on the date and time of your event. Our room hire includes exclusive use of the room, round tables, square tables, chairs, tablecloths, buffet table (if required), cake/welcome table (if required) and private staffed bar (Meriden Suite only) A minimium spend may be required depending on the time of year. Please note we are unable to allow corkage. All events are subject to availability. Charges may still apply in case of cancellations. We withhold the right to cancel your booking with reasonable justification. We will require a non refundable deposit payment to secure all event bookings. Travel & Parking Free parking for function guests, registration details will need to be entered upon arrival. Food
