The Strawberry Bank Hotel comprises of 47 en-suite bedrooms each with their own direct dial telephone, trouser press, tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries to compliment your stay with us. Three of our bedrooms have been specially designed for the comfort of disabled guests.
With a backdrop of 2 acres of matured landscaped gardens providing the idyllic setting for summer events, Strawberry Bank Hotel lies in largely undeveloped land known as the Meriden Gap which separates the conurbations of Coventry and Birmingham.
The original settlement, known as Alspath, was held by Countess Godiva By the early eighteen hundreds Meriden became a Coaching Stage with several Inns and Ale houses and today boasts great historical interest.
The old meets the new and Strawberry Bank Hotel lies close to theNEC and Birmingham International Airport - all major roads and motorways are easily accessible - you are never very far away. Visit the magnificent castle at Warwick, the very Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford and the River Avon or one of our historical Trust Houses and Gardens like Hidcote Manor or Charlecote Park.
When you arrive and check in at reception you will start to get a feel for the hotel. Our entrance Reception Area provides a TV lounge area with Bar with all routes within the Hotel and Restaurant designed for disabled access. The Meriden Suite is a superbly large room, with dance floor for all grand occasions i.e. weddings, celebrations, conferences. The Garden Suite overlooks the grounds and isideally suited for smaller parties or more intimate conferences or meetings.

The Meriden and Garden Suites offer banqueting facilities with extensive menus to choose from whether it is a buffet you require or a sit down meal.There are various wedding packages to choose from and these can be adapted to suit your needs, along with extras such as canapés if you wish.
The Meriden Suite can hold up to 150 people and the Garden Suite up to 60 people.Both are very popular for Wedding and family celebrations.Wedding guests benefit from a reducedbedroom rate. Please call us for details
Conference rooms are available on a 24 hour rate, day delegate rate or on a room hire plus extras’ basis.All rooms have natural daylight as well as artificial lighting.Depending on the layout required, we are able to accommodate up to 60 boardroom, 140 theatre or 50 classroom style.
All conference rooms have direct dial telephone and a television socket with Wi Fi high speed internet access from all areas except the restaurant. Refreshments may be taken in the room or other designated parts of the hotel subject to availability.
The Restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment and hot food will not be available until it re-opens in September.
A full continental breakfast will be available and is complimentary with any room bookings.
